We found problems in the foreclosure proceedings that led to the judgment. A motion to vacate the judgment and dismiss the foreclosure action was filed. The Trial Court denied the motion, and our client appealed the decision with the Appellate Division. Then came the plaintiff’s offer: $2,500 and a modification to avoid further litigation. On September 25, 2023, the Trial Court dismissed the foreclosure complaint. Our client’s goal was to gain time to cure the alleged default. Docket No. F-1981-22.
